In Chew On This, the authors starts explaining the history of the hamburger. Then they start describing how restaurants like McDonald's and KFC were started and how they grew. In the other chapters, they reveal the true ingredients contained in fast food and talk about how many of these ingredients lead to Type II Diabetes, heart attacks, obesity and more.
As many young people are concerned about how their actions can affect not only themselves but also the world as a whole, The authors are quick to point out the impact that the fast food industry has had on jobs, smaller businesses, and the global economy. They talk more about the importance of healthy working environments and fair treatment for workers and explain how places like McDonald's breed underpaid and overworked employees who often barely last more than three months on the job. Eric Schlosserand Charles Wilson describe the unsafe conditions of some of the beef and chicken slaughterhouses that supply fast food restaurants with meat. They also talk about  a little-known fact that most of us don't know that there is a danger of poop being in the beef served at these places.

Bowling for Columbine

The film Bowling for Columbine was actually interesting and I would recommend it for other people to watch. I learned that some documentaries take their topic very seriously. I found interesting in the film that on the news every time someone gets shot it's always the black male and that everyone is scared of the black male, I don't know why they are scared but they are.

Chew on this chapter 1 review

In chapter one i9n the book Chew On This by Eric Schlosser & CHarles Wilson they talk about the first fast food restaurants and their history. They talked about how William Rosenberg dropped out of school at the age 14 and opened up  a doughnut shop (Dunkin' Donuts) Some of the people that started the fast food restaurants dropped out of high school. Then some other people started to look at some other persons restaurant and started taking notes and wanted to open more across of America.

Journalism

What i learned about journalism is that sometimes it's not about you it's about the people and that you need to focus on a specific topic. This short story has many symbols in it. This guy's bride to be goes to "My house is out in the dark woods." this represents that his house is in a weird place to be and the dark woods probably represents that something bad is going to happen to this girl. Also she doesn't even know this guy and he's just inviting her to his house like it's nothing

Blue Beard

We all have been told of the story of Cinderella and all of the other princess stories. But Blue Beard is a very dark, and it's very uncommon for a story to be happy at first then it ends up that your husband has his dead wives hidden in a room somewhere and he says to you that he is going to kill you next. There is nothing wrong with that it's perfectly fine (of course not)

To you, why do we (or you) even tell stories? (Answer)

Why do I tell stories? Because I want to entertain people and sometimes make them scared. Once you start telling stories to other people you’ll want to tell more, some people actually enjoy others telling them so they can get some inspiration from it. What makes me like telling scary stories is that people have told me a lot of scary stories when I was younger and it had me terrified to go in my closet, scared of the dark, etc. so I might want to get back at the people that scared me when I was younger or just to scare them so I can laugh when I see the look on their faces. Sometimes I like people telling me scary stories or watching scary movies but when I get too scared I’ll stop watching the movie or I’ll stop listening to the person telling the story.

He lived amongst a dying breed, Inside his mind he couldn't find a place to rest until he got that "Thug Life" tattooed on his chest. Now that he's struggling in this business, by any means label him as greedy getting green, but seldom seen and forget the world cause he's cursed, he's having visions of leaving here in a hearse, god can you feel him? Take him away from all the pressure and all the pain. Show him happiness again, he's going blind, he spent his time in this cell, he ain't living well. He knows his destiny is hell where did he fail? His life is in denial and when he dies, baptized in eternal fire he'll shed So Many Tears.

Short Story Book Review

Once You're A Jedi, You're A Jedi All The Way is one of the many short stories in the book "Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd" by M.T. Anderson and many other people. In this story A girl named Chung Ae wakes up with a hangover in a bedroom not remembering anything.Then she goes and sees someone she doesn't remember from last night. Eventually I guess that she remember's that she's at a star wars convention and that they're in a hotel room. Also it switches to the guy's point of view (I can't remember his name at the moment) and just explains how he sees it. I recommend you read this short story if you're a Star Wars fan.

      I woke up with headache, I looked around my room and glass was broken. “Oh hey girl…” I looked up and saw my friend cleaning up the rest of the living room “What Happened last night?” “Well, you wanted to have fun after the concert so you threw a party at your house” “Do you have it on tape?” “Of course, Victoria.” She said before pulling her phone. I saw myself chugging down a bottle of vodka and then passing out, having T carry me to my room while there were other people cheering. “Oh my god… why didn’t you stop me? This is embarrassing.” She laughed and stopped for a second like she was thinking then grabbed her bag, “Look, I’m going home ok? We have somewhere to be, which is the movie set so I have to leave. See you later.” Then she left. I can’t believe that I forgot that I have to be on set of a movie? I don’t even remember that…

“Every time I turn my back you’re doing something stupid! I can never trust you!” “I try my best…” Then the director yelled cut “Hey! I had so much fun last night!” A random girl walked up on me and said, she looked familiar but I didn’t recognize her. Damn! This hangover was really getting to me. “Oh hey… I'm glad that you had fun.” I tried giving her a normal look to play off that I didn’t have a hangover. I heard a song called “How do you want it” By Tupac playing in the distance; I assumed that was for a different scene or someone just really loved Tupac. “Okay everyone take a group picture, this is it! We’re done with the movie!” I heard someone say.

Then all of the actors/actress got together in a group and took a picture smiling, I forced myself to smile because I still felt a little of the hangover. Now I have to wait for the premiere and all of that stuff. I really don’t mind all of the fame its just that half of the people are so weird… A guy selling some type of new drink came up to me offered it for free since I was well known. Without hesitation I took a sip, It was so good. An alien came around the corner with a laser gun “Oh my god! They’re trying to take my brain!” I yelled.

The guy that was selling the drink had pointy ears and handed me a machine gun and I started shooting everything until it was gone. The ground disappeared from underneath me and I started free falling until I hit the ground and woke up. Once again, I was at my house in my bedroom but it wasn’t messed up this time. Assuming I passed out I took a sip from the drink that was on the side of my bed and rolled back over, seeing an alien with a laser gun once again. I'm so high. 

Batteries Are Not Included (Short Story)

I got out my binoculars to see what was going on outside, like all of the other nights. There was something huge was outside so I quickly got the phone out "Victor! It's happening again! Go the the camera!" Then i hung up. Running down the street with only one shoe on Victor and our other friend, Sam was already outside waiting for me. Sam was recording with the camera, Victor said "Where are the batteries?" "Batteries are not included..." Then Sam started shaking. "What? What is it? Sam? You're scaring me." Then we all turned around to see a bright light coming towards us and weird sounds were coming from it.
